We’ve been on loads of walking tours but Isaac’s was probably the best. Brilliant intro to the city’s current and (relatively recent) historical context, we learnt so much about modern Athens and Greece’s political and social make up. Isaac gave a masterclass in summarising massively complex issues like the 2008 financial crisis with dry humour and details you remember. Would 100% book his other tours if we come back to Athens.

We took a walk with Mar'ie and had a very pleasant time. We learnt a lot about Jakarta and Indonesia. Mar'ie had perfect English and explained everything with interest and intelligence. The tour was a really personalised discussion and we are really glad we took this experience.

This tour offered a deeply insightful look into Athens’ socio-political life & especially its modern challenges & history behind them. The guide was engaging and well-informed, presenting complex ideas in an accessible way. The blend of historical sites and contemporary discussions made it thought-provoking, offering a unique perspective on how the past shapes today’s Athens. The overall experience was enriching and eye-opening. Perfect for history buffs and curious minds alike, it’s more than just a tour—it’s a compelling conversation about power, society, and change. Highly recommended for those who love depth and context!
