Our experiences offer exceptional access to locations and insightful analysis, resembling a captivating documentary rather than ordinary tourism. You have the freedom to think for yourself, ask your own questions, and truly immerse yourself in the experience. It's unforgettable, unique, thrilling, and engaging. Unlike traditional tours, our groups are small, typically averaging 4-5 people and rarely exceeding 14. Many guests who wouldn't typically travel in groups find that our experiences enable them to explore places in ways they couldn't on their own.
Our experiences are guided by a network of knowledgeable hosts who specialize in diverse fields such as politics, sociology, and economics. Though their expertise may differ, they all share a lifelong curiosity, a deep passion for sharing knowledge, and a dedication to immersing you in the lives, histories, and stories of their city.
You can expect to receive an email from us within the next two business days. This email will serve as a confirmation and provide instructions to access your online itinerary for your order details. In the event that we encounter any issues fulfilling your request, we will reach out to you directly to discuss the alternatives that are available.
Unfortunately, our system only accepts bookings made at least 24 hours in advance of the experience date. However, depending on the availability of our hosts, we may be able to accommodate last-minute bookings. Please send us a message and we will check if it is possible to organize an experience for you.
If you have specifically booked a nighttime experience, starting later, like 8 pm, is definitely possible. However, if you have booked a different time slot and wish to have a later start time, please contact us and we will assist you accordingly.
We prioritize the security of your payment information. All credit card details are securely stored with a level 1 PCI-compliant service provider. Sensitive information is transmitted to the provider through a secure (SSL) connection. We do not share any customer information with third parties.
As a European startup, our credit card processor is located in the European Union, and therefore, all transactions are conducted in euros. However, if you prefer, you can make payment using credit cards denominated in currencies other than euros (such as USD, GBP, AUD, CHF, ILS, etc.), and the amount will be automatically converted to euros based on real-time interbank rates.
To apply a discount code, click on the "apply" button in the coupon code section of the payment page. The discount will be automatically applied to your purchase.
Tipping is always appreciated but not mandatory. At Planetwonk, our hosts generally receive tips ranging from 5% to 15% of the purchase price, depending on the duration and quality of the experience.
In certain circumstances, we may be able to accommodate cash payments on the spot. Please reach out to us and we will discuss the options with you.
Absolutely! If you would like to add an additional guest to your booking, please get in touch with us, and we will provide you with a booking link for them prior to the experience.
We strive to be as accommodating as possible with any last-minute issues; however, we also need to consider the availability of our hosts and third-party suppliers involved in the booking services. If you cancel a booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled start of the services, we will refund 100% of the total fees to you. Please note that no refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the services are scheduled to begin. For bookings made through third-party platforms (Viator, Airbnb Experience, Eventbrite, etc.), please refer to their respective cancellation policy guidelines and contact their customer service team for assistance regarding cancellations and refunds.
Planetwonk operates its experiences rain or shine, so it's advisable to come prepared to the best of your ability. However, in the case of extreme or dangerous weather conditions, Planetwonk may decide to cancel or reschedule experiences. In such situations, our team will promptly contact you with updates and alternative options.
