Mary is a wonderful guide! She gave us a perfect tour while we talked about the position of women in modern Greece. We plunged into the issues of the political agenda and figured out what strikes mean for the citizens, which was very interesting. Mary also answered all of our questions, recommended several films to watch (we will definitely do that!) and spent even more time with us than planned. We are very grateful! Thank you so much! And we also recommend the walk to anyone who wants to understand at least a little the structure of modern Greek society.
An absolute must while in Athens! I learned so much during my time with Mary. There is nothing I could’ve looked up online on my own to learn what I did in our time together. This was a very unique tour and exactly what I wanted. Bonus, Mary is sweet and kind. A true pleasure to talk to.

One of the highlights of my one week in Greece (Athens and Thessaloniki)! So many museums focus on ancient times, but none bridge the past with modern-day history and Greece today as well as Isaac does. After seeing many museums and tour guides wanting to hide parts of their country's story, listening to Isaac was a breath of fresh air. Not only do I have more points to better Greece in the world today, but he is also an attentive storyteller. Very few people can show us that the world around us is just alive now as it was before, and Isaac does so. Highly recommend. Thank you, Isaac!
Isaac is well educated on Greek politics and culture; I definitely felt a culture shock from all that I learned. I highly recommend this experience to any visitors of Greece!
