We had a brilliant evening tour of central Jakarta with Mar'ie, who is a friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We learned about Indonesian history, politics, religion, culture, transport and contemporary society, while walking around many key sites - very difficult to the average tourist walk! Mar'ie was happy to answer all our questions and was keen to find out about life and politics in our home country (the UK). Highly recommended!

We loved taking this tour with Isaac, a real highlight of our short stay in Athens. Isaacs knowledge and clear passion for the subjects covered was clear to see. His ability to link examples to individual guests own countries was very impressive. Fascinating insight to areas and topics not easily explored alone. This tour was excellent – it was easy to follow, incredibly interesting, and provided sufficient context to understand the city and country beyond the ancient ruins and delightful food. Isaac is exceptionally knowledgeable and courageous for offering a sociopolitical tour that critically examines the environment while remaining respectful. I wish we could find tours like his in every city we visit. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the city and seeking to learn more about it.

Mary was a fantastic guide and I learned so much on this tour. I really appreciated her expertise, her enthusiasm, and her willingness to share not just the history of women in Athens but her knowledge and experience of current politics/events. We had really interesting conversations about the differences and similarities between Greece and the US. This tour was definitely a highlight of my trip to Greece.
