Chami is an engaging and knowledgeable tour host. Seeing places that are part of Sri Lanka’s political history and present-day helps appreciate its culture while visiting.

Great experience! I learned a lot (and it was fun). Isaac is brilliant in explaining politics, history and society without judging or taking sides. He differentiates and describes things as they are: oftentimes ambiguous, complex and volatile. Yet, he gives a great overview over complex issues, and it is easy to follow his stories.

This our was a refreshing change to the cookie cutter tourist experiences. We loved learning more about the real Athens and the migrant history and impact of gentrification. My friend wasn't sure about joining me on this tour but in the end said it was her favourite part of our stay in Athens.
