My favorite thing I did in Athens by far. Mary is incredibly passionate and thoughtful. As a queer person myself, I felt honored to know some of the queer history of Greece told by someone who was so involved in it. Everything Mary told me and my husband I will cherish forever and share with others back home. From the stories to the historical facts that led to them. It’s an unforgettable walk through time filled with moments of joy, struggle and most of all, hope. Thank you Mary for such an enriching and beautiful experience.

Wonderful opportunity to learn about the history of feminism and walk around Athens but also to have deep insight into a local story and insight the deep seeded cultural constraints & norms in the contemporary Greek landscape! She's very warm and thoughtful :) .

Such a great tour! Informative and funny… we would have never been able to see this side of Greece on our own. Highly recommend to anyone who is interested is seeing “non touristy” Athens.

Isaac’s tour of such a niche topic was a definite must do in Athens if you are interested in this topic. I highly recommend doing this tour as it taught us so much about the Refugee crisis and more. We also got to see cool parts of Athens we would have never ventured into, which was amazing. Isaac went above and beyond for us and we ended up leaving feeling like we had made a good friend :).

I would rate this 10/5 if I could. Isaac is a masterful guide & true storyteller. He effortlessly interweaves narratives, history, facts and politics to create a digestible understanding of contemporary Greece. Open your mind, your world and your travel experience and do this tour!
