Our guide Gustavo was very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk with. The communications before and tour was easy and smooth. Gustavo brought us to the places a tourist normally wouldn’t visit (or even know how), and gave us many “inside” historical & political views of Mexico. We always love to understand the local people’s views of nowadays politics of the country, and you should totally choose this tour if you’re like us! If you want to hit the iconic spots as a first time visitor, then I am not sure if this is for you (granted this was our second time visiting CDMX).

This was a really interesting tour. The explanation of contemporary Athens, including about places where life is very difficult - as well as those transformed by gentrification - was a great counterpoint to the historical sites of Athens. Some parts of the tour are uncomfortable but Issac doesn’t dwell in the spaces where people on the street are struggling.

Thank you, Dennis and Angel, for this entertaining and interesting tour! I learned so much about Nairobi. We went to various places that were and still are important in the political history of Nairobi, starting from the colonial era and the construction of the railroad, to the important meeting places and parks for political movements that are still important today. I learned a lot, was able to ask all my questions, and had a lot of fun. Highly recommended! (We were on the road for about 3 hours).

Adults who are curious about the dark side of Athens currently, I could not suggest this tour enough. The host is humorous, knowledgeable, and easy to connect with. Often when I travel and see things that feel a bit off, I struggle with finding someone local to talk about it. Issac isn’t afraid to go there. This was one of the most interesting tours of my life. Thank you Issac! If I were to do this again I would wear sneakers. I generally wear sandals because my feet swell but I had to be very careful wearing sandals.

This was an interesting tour that helped explain how Greece came to be how Greece is today. The tour only focuses on modern Greece. It’s a lot of information but the host is good at keeping people engaged. I really appreciate how much the host made adjustments for the heat. I have been on other tours that have you in the brutal sun and Issac kept in the shade when possible.
