Our guide, Marco, took us on a thrilling tour of Centro - a place few visitors ever see. It was a fascinating mix of landmarks and sites through which he told the tale of Rio’s beginnings, its successes and struggles, and its current revitalization efforts. Marco has deep knowledge and understanding of the political, economic, legal and cultural forces that shape the city and country, and he organizes the information and the tour wonderfully. He even brought a little samba and some show business to our evening. It far exceeded our expectations. Fantastic tour. Definitely go if you can!
Chami gave me an excellent tour of Colombo. As we explored the city, she not only introduced me to the beautiful sides of Sri Lanka but also explained in great detail the country’s economic system and political situation.
