What an interesting experience this political and social tour of La Paz allows you to better understand the history of Bolivia and its current situation, which we generally ignore in Europe. I loved this country even more, which was able to push McDonald’s and other Kentucky fried chicken outside its borders. Kevin’s narration is captivating and peppered with anecdotes. We feel that he is involved and answers questions perfectly. I highly recommend this experience to travel smarter.

Kevin was fantastic, taking us through centuries of Bolivian history in an engaging and accessible way, and weaving his own family’s stories throughout. Despite the huge amount of information, we never felt overwhelmed and we thought he made it very easy to follow. We appreciated that he told both sides of controversial events in history and welcomed questions from us every step of the way. He’s a talented storyteller and well-informed guide, and was happy to provide recommendations around the city when the tour concluded. We really enjoyed the tour and recommend it highly. Fascinating tour from a friendly and knowledgeable guide about the more recent history of Greece and the socio-political situation in Athens, as well as an exploration of parts of the city that no other tour has taken me on. Super recommended!

This is quite easily the best experience I have ever done. Chami is an exceptional guide who knows the politics, economics, and history of the country inside out. She is passionate about her country and it reflects in the conversation. Always happy to answer questions and keep you engaged through the wealth of information that she has. A must for anyone even remotely interested in learning about this great country.
