This was, without exaggeration, the best tour we have ever been on. Gustavo is an incredible guide—thoroughly educated, deeply knowledgeable, and possessing a distinct POV that brings the heart of Mexico City to life. He doesn’t just share dates; he shares the stories, scars, and triumphs of the city, from its ancient roots to the current political climate and social injustices. It was so impactful we actually found ourselves shedding a tear during the more poignant moments. We explored the Zócalo, hidden neighborhoods, and an amazing old market, learning through a perfect blend of storytelling and historical images. Gustavo is an incredible tour guide who has a deep knowledge and passion for the history of Mexico City and the politics that shaped it. We learned so much in the 2hrs we spent walking together. He answered all our questions (and we had many!) and gave us so much to think about. Deeply researched it almost felt like we were in a documentary. This tour was elucidating and important. If you’re keen on learning more about this incredible and complicated city you should definitely make a point of booking this tour.
