I would definately reccomend booking this experience with Isaac , he educated us on the refugee crisis and answered any questions we had . I also left interested in looking deeper into it myself and gave us alot to consider.

A very good, non-ideological, materially based explanation of what the modern political situation of Greek looks like, and how it got to this point. Recommend to anybody interested in politics and history.

What an amazing experience. Did this on my first full day here as a solo-traveler. A perfect tour if you want to see the Athens the Tourism Board doesn’t want exactly want you to see. Met fellow-minded people who I’ve since seen during my stay. Recommended to anyone whose into political or social history or wants a thorough explanation on modern Greece if you tire of the ancient and crowded sites.

You cannot miss this tour if you care about the world and your place in it. Isaac is incredibly knowledgeable about modern day Greek politics, and his compelling storytelling creates a greater understanding of the forces that shape this country's current circumstances. Isaac is funny and practical - and he offers a unique perspective as both an outsider and someone who is intimately familiar with Greek political and cultural life.

Isaac offers so many opportunities for us to experience the city from a different perspective. Even if you've been to Athens before, it fluently shows you the non-touristic reality of Athens, which can be of interest to you. His dominance over the politics and history of other countries is also very strong. I learned a lot from it. I would definitely recommend.
