If you are in Athens and want to get a very in-depth understanding of local and Greek collective mentality and the inner workings of an amazing city (with the good and the bad), PLEASE BOOK THIS TOUR with Isaac. This has been probably the best walking tour I have ever been on. I do not want to give away any spoilers, but I can tell you that Isaac is incredibly knowledgeable and objective, you will receive a lot of information (especially in the first hour, which is absolutely great to provide a general context for the current situation), but there was not one dull moment during the tour. The pace is really relaxed, so no worries about any physical strain, but I do strongly recommend you bring some water and a hat to protect you from the sun if you're taking this tour during the hot summer months. Again, this is a MUST DO, regardless if you are a history or political buff or not, Isaac is truly an Athenian institution. Thank you again, Isaac, for a truly amazing experience!
Isaac is an amazing storyteller and he knows so much about politics and societal issues! With him, it never gets boring! He’s very engaging and it’s a perfect experience if you want to know Athens from a different and more real perspective. I will recommend to my friends!

This was a topic that I’ve seen on the news before but it was interesting to see it first hand. It’s not a tour for everyone, most people just want to have fun and relax on holiday. Isaac really did a good job giving us a different perspective on life in Athens away from the touristy area to see how different communities exists in society. Overall a very well done tour.

If interested in the political history of Bolivia this tour is a must! Kevin explained everything super clearly, was engaging, very knowledgeable and a super nice person. He encouraged us to ask questions and made sure we were following and understood everything.

The BEST tour to understand Athens and Greece. A great mix of history, culture, political drama and great storytelling! Isaac has put together a very thoughtful tour that you absolutely could not get from a book or from other tours. You won't visit the Acropolis, but you WILL leave with a strong understanding of Greece... plus explore some parts of Athens that tourists rarely see!
