I always like to learn about local LGBT+ history on my travels and I'm very glad I booked this tour with Mary. It was extremely interesting and overall a great experience! It was very insightful; Mary talked about individual activists and the broader queer movement(s) and its connection with other events up to the very recent past. It was quite emotional, too, both sobering and inspiring. Besides being an excellent, knowledgeable storyteller, Mary was obviously passionate about the topic. She was also super nice and friendly and I enjoyed talking to her a lot! She answered all my questions and even gave me a bar recommendation. I definitely recommend the experience!
If you have any interest whatsoever in how Modern Greek society and politics work, please take this experience. Excellent!

Isaac is a great storyteller and a knowledgeable political scientist. He brings so much cultural knowledge & experience to this tour, and helped us understand Greek social history & politics and how our home country frameworks do not apply because of their unique history. I really appreciated his perspective and would recommend this to everyone!

Fascinating to see Modern Greece and Athens, in a completely different lens than the usual focus on antiquity. My next time in Athens I’ll make sure to tour with Isaac again.

I had a wonderful time on this tour led by Isaac. His captivating narration and passion really shined through and made it a super memorable moment. I learnt so many insights and anecdotes on the country's political history. I wish I could have stayed longer in Athens to experience other tours with him. 100% recommend !
