Incredible tour. We learnt so much and our guide was excellent, Janesha was personable and we immediately were relaxed and welcomed in her friendly presence. And in terms of the tour she is so well informed and was able to answer all of our questions.

This tour is a must do for anyone who wants to know how the countries they visit actually work (or don’t). Isaac has an incredible amount of knowledge about Greek politics and culture and is a great storyteller. I feel that if I didn’t do this tour I would visit Greece without really getting to know the inner workings of the country and it’s politics.

This was a really cool, unique experience. If you are in Athens and interested in the “behind the scenes” information, book this tour. Isaac is extremely knowledgeable on the area and the political climate. It was crazy to see the vast differences of the tourist part of Athens, vs the places they don’t want you to see/visit. In this tour you get a history lesson and it paints a picture of how Athens has changed over the years, and how gentrification will continue to change how it will look in the future. If you are interested in the deeper and darker version of this tour, he will offer the “extra spicy” version.
I had such a great experience with this tour and was delighted to have a glimpse of the contemporary greek lives and the international/domestic political circumstances of the country. Issac’s storytelling kept me interested the whole time and kindly answered to all of my curiosities. Definitely recommend this tour if you want to explore more than acropolis while being in Athens.
