Isaac was a great guide, interesting and amusing stories about modern Greece with helpful examples of how it might relate to your country. Would definitely recommend to those looking for Greek history beyond the acropolis.

Isaac is a real politics buff and an amazing story teller! I see so many things in a new light after everything I learned on this tour. The only thing I regret is that I did not book the tour on my first day in Athens, it is so enlightening! If you are interested in politics and history, you must join this tour!

Really appreciated how Isaac told a saga of a story about the national history of Greece; his knowledgeable and open response to questions asked; and the added sensory experience of walking through the city and National Garden while on tour. Put your walking shoes on, and get ready for a meaningful good time!

I wish more city tours were like that. Isaac manages to connect the past - especially the Greek war for independence - with the present in an ideal way. The tour is for you if you want to know more about Athens than what you can find in your average guide book and if you are interested in contemporary (especially European) politics. We enjoyed it a lot.
