This is one of the best tours that I have been on in a foreign country. As a political science major in undergrad and an attorney here in the United States, this tour hit all of my social and political questions/interests. I would highly recommend to any person traveling to Athens who wants to learn more about the current state of Athenian politics and culture.

If you want to see the city outside of its touristic bubble, this is the tour for you! Isaac explains how politics have shaped the city/country into the way it is today whilst giving you a tour around the less visited parts of the city. I would highly recommend to have the tour early in your travels so that you can have a chance to attend the other complementary and equally interesting tours offered by Isaac during your visit. With this tour we became very mindful about how our choices as tourists and understanding the frustration of the locals that could come with mass tourism. Highly recommended!
Isaac is a fantastic guide! He led us through the city and was able to tell us interesting facts about both the political and social aspects of the area in a fun way. Thanks to his enthusiasm and knowledge, we saw the city and the country from a completely different perspective. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to discover the city in an interesting and educational way!

Very informative and full of insights about Greece culture and political, social and economical situation today. Isaac is very skilled in storytelling making history and politics funny and he also has a lot of knowledge and facts. One of the best tours we have done. Highly recommending it.
