If you are interested in politics, and social issues and you like to see a different side of Athens, this is your tour. Isaac is very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed parts of the city I would normally not visit so easily. He made me look beyond the tourist layer of the city. And last but not least, I got to know where to get some food falafel so that’s where I bought lunch for on the road some days later ;).
10/10 - Isaac us well informed and gave us a lot of perspective for our time in Athens. It’s a perfect intro to modern Greece and its many influences!

This was a truly incredible tour filled with unbiased analysis, storytelling, empathy, and humor. It’s like listening to your favorite political podcast but you get to interrupt with your own questions. As a foreign tourist, I feel I have a much more balanced, complete picture of the Greek identity.

Isaac is a gem. He made complicated, chaotic Greek politics and history into something easily understandable. This experience makes me feel like I have arrived in modern Greece. If I just did only the usual touristy things and not come on this experience, I would feel a massive missing out on really getting to understand modern Greece. Thank you Isaac for offering this experience.

Real gritty experience of Athens. Very insightful walk through of migration patterns, insights into Greek social policy and how social changes happen. Brilliant for a second day after seeing the Athens they want you to see!
