Our tour with Gustavo was great! First of all, we were accommodated on a private tour on a day that wasn't even listed since it was the only day we would have been able to do this tour. Second of all, Gustavo was so knowledgable! He truly had a thoughtfully researched answer for any of our questions. Third of all, he was very thoughtful about making sure that we were always positioned in the shade and could sit at each stop. He took us on the metro and to very unique places. He was totally prepared with an extra umbrella when it started to rain and brought us each water too. He's a total pro! In addition, what really made the tour special was that he was willing to engage about really complicated political topics.
This is one of the best tours I’ve ever done in my life, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Gustavo is incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and an extremely effective communicator. He’s like a walking encyclopedia of Mexican history, culture, and current events. His English is very good too. This tour was so impactful, that I’m going to be thinking about it for a long time.

We had the most excellent time on our tour with Ardra. He was very knowledgable and we have some very interesting discussions about the history of Indonesia’s politics. Highly recommend!

It was a very enjoyable experience. We visited many places— Kingsbury Hotel, Independence Square, BMICH— and talked about Sri Lanka's colonial history, independence, civil war, economy, and future. I was very satisfied with the conversations and the experience. It was fascinating to discuss the history of each place we visited, and at the same time, I felt deeply saddened by the plight of those living in such dire circumstances. If possible, I hope to experience similar programs in the political centers of more countries. I recommend all my friends participate.
This was one of the best walking tours I've ever done. Angel and Dennis are both extremely knowledgeable and they played off each other very well explaining the historical context, and how that has shaped Nairobi today. They also provided a lot of honest insights, and encouraged deeper questions and discussion during the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking to understand the social and political culture in Nairobi and get something much more than a usual touristy walking tour.
