Amazing tour! Absolutely worth the money. Learn about the ideological currents rooted as far back as the Byzantine Empire that effect modern politics and daily living in Greece. This is a walk through the city, so some notes in accessibly include: mostly wheelchair friendly-most paths had some sidewalk/ramp but I would contact Issac in advance to make sure. Also, Athens is a bustling city, so if you have trouble hearing over background noice, bringing a listening device like a pocket talker would be helpful.”
Isaac is very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had about the political situation in Greece. I learned a great deal about the refugee crisis, which we don’t hear much about through the media.

One of the most unique and best walking tour experiences we've had! We learnt so much about the political history of Athens and what makes Athens today from Isaac. Isaac is an exciting story-teller, and I found the structure of the walking tour incredibly easy to follow as he narrated the political history of Athens while taking us through the city. Isaac also personalises the tour to the group depending on what country you come from (he can comment about how the political system in Athens compares to yours etc.). All in, a great experience and would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to learn more about Athens beyond the tourist "must-sees". Isaac was also very keen to engage with the group so come armed with questions!
We went on this tour after Isaac’s social and political tour. It was a great second part/ follow on to understand the situation in Greece today and proceeding years. An interesting and thought provoking tour. Would deffo recommend!

Really interesting tour of Athens, giving an informed opinion and summary of politics in Greece today. Isaac was friendly and generous with his opinions, carefully making references back to the group’s respective home countries to aid understanding. Tour was evenly paced, and we felt we got an alternative picture of Athens. Would definitely recommend.
