I did a walking tour with Issac last summer in Athens and loved it so much, it was a genuine highlight of my trip and enhanced the rest of the trip so much now that I had context for the social and political history. I was so excited when I saw there was an experience in Manila, my only wish is that I had done the walking tour on my first day. I liken Issac's experiences to the box of text or the audio guide when you are at an art gallery. You see a beautiful painting, it gives you feelings, you appreciate it, but then you read the museum label and you learn who did the painting, what year, and the story about how the piece came to be and it makes the experience so much richer. I am glad to see that Issac has tours all around the world now, Alex was a great host in Manila, like Issac, who made us feel like we had an instant friend who was a local, but with an outsiders perspective, able to give objective commentary that a local might not be able to. Going to have a look where else Issac has tours so I can book them in for my summer travels!
Isaac is extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We've heard fascinating stories that we would 100% not hear any other way. I wish I had such a tour in every city in the world. He just tells it all as it is, good and bad, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. Of course the tour is worth its price - I'd argue it's worth more! Thank you Isaac!

I recommend a tour with Isaac to everyone. My daughter and I had the opportunity to immerse ourselves not only in the history of the country, but also in the present. The tour guide is knowledgeable, erudite, with a good sense of humor. Without this excursion, it is difficult to understand why Athens is the way it is. Well, we were still interested - that's why we ordered the next excursion with Isaac, he is an extremely interesting tour guide and a person who understands and knows all the political and historical processes not only among the Greece, but also in the whole world.
As someone with Greek heritage I have been to Athens a few times and was looking for something different for my husbands first time and he loves history and politics so this was a win! Interesting analysis, easy to follow summaries and engaging discussion. I saw and learnt about several events and buildings that I would have otherwise not come across. Isaac is a great storyteller, able to link examples to your country and full of knowledge, he was also mindful of the heat and kept the tour in shaded spots + had us sitting between walking. It is a very honest discussion about a lot of things Greeks may not be proud of, so prepare for the romanticism of contemporary Athens to be busted. Definitely recommend for those interested in the social and political landscape of contemporary Athens and Greece.
Would recommend if you want a deeper look at the history of Indonesia and some major cultural historical socio-political sites. Interesting and knowledgeable tour guide.
