The depth of Isaac’s “insider” knowledge of the Athens beyond the tourist area is rich and more informative than I could have imagined. He safely took us to places I wouldn’t have gone to on my own and informatively enriched my experience of this fascinating city. Highly recommended!

Having visited Athens many times and joined different walking tours, we can honestly say this one stands out as essential. Isaac does an incredible job of connecting the cultural, social, and political context that shapes modern Greece. It’s not just a walk — it’s a deeper understanding of Greece and its people. If you’re going to do one walking tour in Athens, make it this one.

This was hands down one of the best tours we have ever done. Gustavo was an incredibly talented guide willing to answer endless questions and prepared with charts and information that helped us get a better understanding of Mexico and its political life. We are glad to have found this tour, we will recommend it to anyone looking to learn more about the city and country. Our kids (11 and 13) were surprised to find themselves engaged and interested in the tour. We encourage Gustavo to come up with a second tour so we can continue to learn from him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. do not miss.
