The feminist walk with Mary was a very nice experience. It was great meeting a fellow feminist from another nation, learning more about the history of women’s movements in Greece and talking about my own country as well. Mary was super attentive with my questions about historical facts or her personal experiences. She also helped me with recommendations for places to go as a solo female traveler. I highly recommend her tour. ☺️

This has been the best part of my trip. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wishes to learn more about the political and demographic dynamics unfolding in an urban area. There is more to Athens than beautiful scenery, and we all owe it to ourselves to keep our eyes open and be aware to our environment.

Great tour - added a lot to our otherwise “touristy” short trip to Athens. Gave us insight and a view of areas we would not otherwise have been to.

This was such an insightful tour!! I highly recommend this to anyone who would want to be exposed to reality of how Athens developed into the city that it is today, not just the picturesque side of it. Like the description says there is something charmingly beautiful about the “awful” side of Athens

This is an outstanding synopsis of the current and ongoing refugee crisis. It is a nuanced problem for strategic Greece. Isaac explains this with great sensitivity, incredible insight and a clear understanding of all the issues. It’s a juxtaposition of the extreme privilege of being a tourist and the seedy underbelly that few tourists likely seek out. Of the hundreds of tours I have taken, this was a life changing lesson on my privilege to be a voyeur to this world. If you do one thing in Athens, it must be this tour. Sensitive, thought provoking and deeply resonated with my core.
