Isaac is an amazing storyteller and this tour was really interesting and engaging. We both learned a lot about the history, architecture, neighbourhoods, and political and social context of Athens. Isaac was also familiar with some of the political context in our group members’ home countries so was able to draw parallels in a way that helped all of us learn more! He was also really thoughtful about keeping us in the shade on a 35 degree day. We really enjoyed this tour and it was the perfect way to kick off our time in Athens.
We had a brilliant evening tour of central Jakarta with Mar'ie, who is a friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We learned about Indonesian history, politics, religion, culture, transport and contemporary society, while walking around many key sites - very difficult to the average tourist walk! Mar'ie was happy to answer all our questions and was keen to find out about life and politics in our home country (the UK). Highly recommended!

We loved taking this tour with Isaac, a real highlight of our short stay in Athens. Isaacs knowledge and clear passion for the subjects covered was clear to see. His ability to link examples to individual guests own countries was very impressive. Fascinating insight to areas and topics not easily explored alone.
