This was, without exaggeration, the best tour we have ever been on. Gustavo is an incredible guide—thoroughly educated, deeply knowledgeable, and possessing a distinct POV that brings the heart of Mexico City to life. He doesn’t just share dates; he shares the stories, scars, and triumphs of the city, from its ancient roots to the current political climate and social injustices. It was so impactful we actually found ourselves shedding a tear during the more poignant moments. We explored the Zócalo, hidden neighborhoods, and an amazing old market, learning through a perfect blend of storytelling and historical images. Gustavo made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time and even surprised us with a special local snack. If you want to truly understand the complex, beautiful soul of CDMX, this is a must-book.
