Absolutely incredible tour. Isaac is extremely knowledgeable, and has a talent for drawing comparisons to the groups home countries to help contextualize the information. We both walked away with a much better understanding of Greek history and cultural identity. Isaac is a captivating (and funny) story teller and I felt engaged the entire time. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

The tour was amazing! Isaac is an incredibly knowledgeable host and has crafted a great tour that takes you to all the main locations and neighborhoods that shaped modern Greece. He was factual and chronological, which I appreciated greatly, and was able to keep us interested the entire time! I have such a better understanding of modern Greece thanks to his tour. I look forward to coming back and taking the other tours he offers!

Isaac gave us an unexpected perspective on the most recent history of Greece/Athens. He knows what he is talking about and the walk with him around some of the central neighborhoods was interesting and fun. I wished we had more time to do his other walk about migration, another hot topic in today’s world. I would totally recommend this tour if you want to go out of the beaten path and learn more about recent history events.

it's one of the best tour we've ever joined - in any country - Isaac is capable of giving a macro perspective on the history of modern Greece and then bring you to see the details of current conflicts and movements in the district where they actually take place today. It's been a pleasure to listen and follow him through Athens - and hear is fabulous storytelling - if you want to come back home with real new understanding of the country you visit - sign up without a doubt.
Isaac is a great storyteller. He spaced from XIX century to the present days to let us understand the history of Greece and what are the reasons of the economic crisis over there. Thanks to him all along my holidays in Greece I looked at this country with a different perspective, not just as a tourist but as a citizen and a person whose life is connected to the people of the world (mostly European Union).
