This is a unique experience and we learned so much about recent Athens history from Isaac. Loved hearing about the Exarchia neighborhood and how the political culture of Greece ties into its recent history. This tour was truly excellent. It’s a great way to get a feel for modern Greek politics and society. Isaac is very knowledgeable not only about Greece but global economics and politics. He was able to contrast Greece to Latin-American, Caribbean. North American and Western economies and political structures to help explain the nuances of Greek society. Highly recommend this tour if you want to dig below the surface of the tourist sites and get to learn about this beautiful and complex country a bit more.
