Mary was very welcoming and easy to be with - and so informed about LGBT history across Athens. It was a really lovely afternoon learning more about evolving political situation in Greece and the liberation of LGBT communities - as well as some of the continuing struggles. Really nice to connect with local LGBT community -
and an important accompaniment to just heading to the local LGBT bar! Thanks Mary - a really interesting and informative time!!

This tour was AMAZING. Mary is a library of information on the LGBTQ history and movement in Greece, and a great storyteller and activist. We saw and learned so much we never would have without her, and it was easily one of the highlights of our time here. Highly recommended to any and all!

This is a great introduction to LGBTQI issues in Greece, both past and current, from a knowledgeable activist. Mary will give you the backstory on a number of issues as well as an outlook on what’s currently going on on the scene. Brace yourselves because it’s not just sparkles and rainbows but contains some heavy stuff, but Mary will give you some hope at the end as well :)

I highly recommend this tour- you learn about the history of Greece through the lens of a highly marginalized, oppressed population. Mary is an excellent source of information and highly considerate of her participants. She went above and beyond to make sure that my partner and I had an engaging, interesting tour.

I had such a great experience with Mary on this tour! She was so incredibly knowledgeable and approachable. We were able to talk about everything from the past to the present and see some interesting places around the city. Definitely recommend!
