This was a really amazing experience thanks to the passion and engaging style of Isaac. I enjoyed his wide expanse of knowledge and his ability to structure the information in a thoughtful and interesting way. I learnt so much and Isaac even stayed around after the tour to respond to the questions that the group had. He has definitely opened my eyes and left me lots of food for thought with regard to Greek politics!

This tour was one of my favorite things we did in Athens. I learned so much about the politics and history of the city and its people. Isaac was a wonderful tour guide; he shared thoughtful details and patiently answered our group's many questions.

Interesting walk for those who are looking to get a more on-the-ground account of what they've read in the news since 2015/16-ish. Good conversations with some fellow travelers as well. Isaac has stories to share AND also has flexibility in his conversation style if something piques your interest (not always the case on history/culture/politics tours. Isaac is a great facilitator.

Cannot recommend a better experience. Isaac’s knowledge about the political and social fabric of Greece is tremendous. The tour is a very pleasant walk and covers things from major landmarks to small details in street art and buildings you would not notice just walking by. He is able to explain the history of the regional empires and financial crisis in easy to understand layman’s terms. I wish in school I had a politics or history teacher like him! The price is very reasonable as well. We learnt more about Greece in these 2 hours than in the rest of our 2 week stay.
This was one of the best Athens experiences ever. Mary was a brilliant and passionate guide who cares deeply about the cause. Her knowledge of the subject is incredible and her storytelling left me deeply moved.
