It was great! My guide, Alex, is from Serbia rather than a local from the Philippines. Regardless, he was very knowledgeable of the realities in the country. Additionally, he was also very flexible and accommodated the small requests I had.

Very insightful and alternative tour of Athens. I can only recommend Isaac and the sights and stories he shared with us. A must do for a short visit in Greece to under past, present ans future of the country.

We had so much fun on this tour with Isaac. Isaac is very passionate about his tours and it was very informative. Super edgy tour. Definitely book if you’re looking for something different!”

This is a must, not just for the political aspect of Greece. It is also a good understanding of the modern Athens. highly recommended.

I would definitely not miss this! I booked the tour together with my two teenage sons who were actually a bit reluctant from start. When we finished and on our way back home, they told me how exiting it had been. None of us are especially knowledgeable about political science, but since Isaac is a brilliant storyteller we left with a lot more insight than we had before. He has a way of explaining and painting mental pictures for us to imagine the reality of the places we visited so that we could really grasp it. We learned about political arrangements leading to the situation as it is today. Isaac even managed to put a little bit of humour into some of the the disturbing facts he was telling us about. We went to places we would never have visited on our own and we never felt unsafe. Only fascinated, a bit sad and extremely grateful for our own life. On a day like this you can start to visit the place where democracy was born and end up a couple of blocks away where people do not have the option to vote. It is not our fault, but it feels necessary to understand it and Isaacs tour is an extremely efficient way to do this.
